New Research on Feet in Pregnancy

April 21, 2018

Recent studies in Spain looked at the effect of pregnancy on your feet.  You've probably heard that your feet can take a bit of a hammering during pregnancy.  It's true, hormones relax your tendons and ligaments to make birth easier - but they also affect your feet.

Women's feet tend to spread and arches fall, it's common for your feet to grow 1/2 to 1 full shoe size.  The Spanish research found that this was associated with problems with footwear, ability to take exercise, ability to get out with your friends and family, and your general vitality.

At Souls we understand this and that is why we developed our insoles specifically to support and make comfortable feet in pregnancy.  Check out our website and give them a try.
