Even if you did nothing before you were pregnant its important to do some exercise for a healthy pregnancy. But how much should you do?
You'll be pleased to hear it's probably less than you think and you can fit it in with your daily routine quite easily. Experts recommend that you should try to be active every day if you can. Small things like walking to the shops or getting the bus instead of driving can get you enough exercise.
Start with 15 minutes three times a week. Gradually increase this to 30 minutes 5 days a week. Simply going for a 30 minute walk is enough. Remember SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING. Hopefully you'll enjoy getting out and about, and if you already have kids they will always enjoy a walk to the park!
